What's new

Every TriCoo version, newest first. Each one shows its date and what changed for you.

  1. Version 0.4.0

    Live now
    • If no day in your schedule has both ride and run ticked, the week is built without a brick instead of staying empty. The day settings show a hint on how to get bricks back. More in Plan.
    • The day before a B or C race and the day after are easy only, 90 minutes at most. The long session moves to another day of the week. No strength on these days.
    • In a 25 or 50 metre pool, swim sessions are written in metres: warm-up, main work, intervals and cool-down.
    • If your watch sends resting heart rate or HRV during the day, the coach suggests lightening or moving the session within a minute when needed. Before, that suggestion waited until the evening.
    • A strength session can be marked only on its day or later. If a strength session is waiting for your answer about equipment or weight, the question shows in the plan and in Settings. After you answer, the plan updates by itself.
    • The Getting ready for a test card explains why the threshold needs a check, which sessions come before the test and where best to do it.
    • On the home screen, tap a segment of the session bar to see its amount in metres or minutes above it.
    • We started counting how people use TriCoo: visit days and main steps, with no health data. You can turn it off in Settings, Analytics.
  2. Version 0.3.0

    • New Triathlon section (in Russian). Nine guides on preparation: choosing a distance, threshold tests, bricks and tapering for a race.
    • If your watch sent a workout without a sport type, it now has an It was strength training button. Tap it and the workout closes the strength session in your plan. More in Strength training.
    • A strength session you have already marked no longer changes when the plan is recalculated.
    • In a deload week with days marked unavailable, the long weekend sessions stay in the plan.
    • No more notifications about things that happened before you turned them on. The notifications toggle no longer disappears after you switch it off.
    • Sign-in and sign-up now check for bots. Usually you will not see it and there is nothing to click.
    • On a computer the plan now opens as a calendar.
  3. Version 0.2.0

    • The app is now live on tricoo.app. Before, there was only the home page and the help centre. Now you get a training plan, a readiness traffic light and an AI coach.
    • Workouts arrive from your watch through intervals.icu or Strava. The step-by-step guide shows how to connect a watch through intervals.icu.
    • You can build strength sessions from your own exercises. TriCoo takes the weight from what you usually lift. More in Strength training.
    • For swimming you can pick your own technique goal and drills. More in Swim technique.
    • Once a week you get a review: what you did, how your form changed and what comes next.
    • Settings are split into sections. Watch and service connections live in one place.
    • Every screen has a Help button. It walks you through the screen and shows where things are.
  4. Version 0.1.0

    • The home page and the help centre open right away, even on a slow connection.
    • Search engines see the full text of the pages, so TriCoo is easier to find.
